Sjoelen (aka Dutch Shuffleboard)
We've been making use of my parents' Dutch "sjoelbak" since New Year's Eve, and it has been great! Here are some pictures of the experts in action:

When Opa offered to bring his sjoelen along with his chain saw, I thought it was another piece of equipment to help with the fallen tree, but spelt in Dutch. Now I remember what fun we had one night at Fourth Av playing with it. Sounds like you had a lovely week with the Bliessners. Nice to spend family time snugly inside while Mother Nature rages.
Tamaar, talking about experts..... then you should have had your own picture there instead of me; Wow, when you just casually started and scored 20 with 4 disks in a row we were all "gobsmacked" (I"m sure that is spelled wrong...)including you!! Nice to see Jarred and Aliesha in the photos and Darren & Tiffany; sounds like you all had a wonderful time. Bye, mum
